I began playing volleyball in 7th grade in a small Christian school I attended and continued to play till I graduated high school. It has always been my favorite sport. I enjoyed playing every position, and giving my all every time I was on the court. I also played on intramural teams in college and have since enjoyed playing for fun with family and friends.
I have been coaching volleyball for two years: the first year as the assistant coach for the Grace Lady Soldiers Varsity volleyball team, and my second year as the head coach for the Lady Soldiers. I love coaching and watching the girls use the talents the Lord has given them on the court to play together as a team and I encourage them to do everything to glorify God.
This past season was my 5th year of coaching Middle School Volleyball here at Grace Christian School. I absolutely love coaching middle school girls because they have such enthusiasm and passion for the game! When they learn a new skill or finally get their serves in, the excitement and confidence they feel are what this game is all about! If these girls come away from the season loving the game of volleyball as much as I do, then I have done my job of coaching successfully!
